About the Role

 

Reporting to the Commercialization Manager, The purpose of this role is to ensure that product launches, product changes and product delists are executed on time and within budget.  The Product Lifecycle Manager must co-ordinate the activities required by internal departments, external suppliers and customers in order to meet the customer’s expectations. This person will collaboratively work with New Product Development. Technical, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Commercial Departments, as well as interfacing with customers, design / repro houses and printers to ensure that new products / new packaging are launched on time.

 

This role will ensure compliance with all legal requirements for soft drinks packaging, manage all internal product master-data setups with 100% accuracy and effectively manage the process of artwork creation & approval.

 

 

About You

 Accomplished Project Manager, Commercialisation Manager or Supply Chain Manager-level individual with a proven track.

At least 5 years’ experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment.

Demonstrable experience of working in a large cross functional team environment.

Experience of multi-site project management and coordination of remote teams and stakeholders.

Product Lifecycle Management.

Experience of a large-scale food and drink business and the associated processes e.g. forecast-driven JIT and VMI-led production (Group T/O €2bn, REFRESCO Turnover circa £700m).

An S&OP or IBP driven environment.

A positive can-do approach, adept at conflict management whilst also being on the front foot to seek out and exploit business opportunities.

The ability to deal with ambiguity and convert complex plans into simplified communication.

Monitors & steers deliberately in a multisite environment on constructive & smooth cooperation between teams to achieve targeted team, unit or group results.

Formulates strategies for future change management needs for the whole organisation and builds in sensitivities and room to manoeuvre when opportunities arise that might alter the strategy.

Strong direct and remote leadership skills

 

Salary & Benefits

 

The salary for this role is dependent on experience. We also offer an annual bonus incentive and a good company pension scheme, 3x basic salary life assurance plus 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays (with the option to purchase additional holidays). Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Fridays 8.30 - 4.00.
