Business Controller

The Business Control team of Refresco Europe consists of three senior business controllers, three business controllers and one FP&A Analyst, each with their area of expertise: Procurement Control, Commercial Control and Operations Control. In this position you will report to the Senior Business Controller Operations Europe. The team reports into the CFO Europe. Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for our new:

Business Controller 
 

The role in short 

• Business performance analysis for monthly reporting, forecast and budget, based on input from local finance teams in the business units across Europe; 
• Writing of (monthly) performance reports for the Operating Board on key financial as well as non-financial KPI’s in collaboration with the other business controllers;
• Interfacing with central reporting team (financial control);
• Providing ad hoc analysis on operational performance, cost developments, investment cases;
• Supporting European wide operational benchmarks and footprint studies;
• Contributing to the FP&A agenda;
• Advocator of data quality journey; driving uniform KPI definitions and consistent application across business units.

Your profile 

• You have a Master qualification in finance, accountancy, economics or business administration; 
• You have gained experience in financial accounting, FP&A reporting and controlling; 
• At least three years of working experience working for a Big4 company or in a finance role in an international company; 
• You are data savvy and have strong Excel and BI skills;
• Working in or for the FMCG/trading/food & beverages/retail is a plus; 
• You are energetic, passionate about numbers and the story behind it, pragmatic and love the dynamics of a fast paced and growing company; 
• You are flexible, adjust easily to changing priorities and can liase with various stakeholders on different levels; 
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
