Executive Assistant
to the European Board


Being an experienced Executive Assistant, you will report into the COO Europe and also support the 5 members of the European Board.

 

Key responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all-round secretarial services such as agenda management, travel arrangements, meeting location arrangement as well as helping to organize some events
  • In your role you will prepare for the monthly European meetings such as the European Leadership Team meetings (European Board + Business Units MDs), the Commercial Leadership Team meetings, as well as the quarterly Operations meetings
  • You will prepare for management presentations, and support in preparing different required documents
  • You participate in the head office’s facilities arrangements, and you are continuously looking for a better way of working and adapt to the quickly growing business of Refresco
  • You have one direct report (management assistant) who provides part time support to the wider European teams. These are mainly European Commerce, Operations and HR

 

The COO Europe is responsible for the entirety of the European Business of Refresco composed of 8 Business Units. His European Board has different nationalities. They are a relatively young team together and hold a large range of responsibilities in the areas of Operations, Finance, HR, Commerce and Procurement. Their doors are always open and it is easy to connect as Refresco appreciates an informal and transparent way of working. It is key to listen well to the different needs whilst aligning on their individual as well as their common requirements. This is your key to successfully contributing to staying a strong team together. Through your participation and contribution, your engagement and impact will develop over time.

 

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience in an international business environment, FMCG  experience is a plus
  • You have good expertise in Microsoft Teams, Word, Powerpoint & Excel
  • Fluent in English, conversational Dutch (level A2) and preferably another European language
  • Well-structured systematic approach to your work
  • You are very good at organizing and not afraid of ad-hoc activities
  • You are strong at maintaining relationships with external people
  • You are a hardworking professional with highly developed social skills
  • You are available between 32 and 40 hours per week;
  • You prefer to work at the office in Rotterdam and you are fun to work with!
