In our head office in Rotterdam of our international company we are looking for our new:

Receptionist
16 hours per week - divided over 2 or 3 days

You will be part of a team of three enthusiastic colleagues. Together with them, you are responsible for managing and taking care of the daily support in and around the office. We are looking for someone who is available on Wednesday and Thursday or 16 hours divided over the following three days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. You take great joy in providing the best service for our guests and colleagues. In one short sentence: you love to engage with people!

About the role

• You handle incoming (international) calls from our internal organization and external vendors/suppliers/contacts;
• You welcome our guests and employees at the reception;
• You are familiar with the company structure and welcome our guests in a professional manner;
• You make sure the office space and meeting rooms are representable;
• You handle the general e-mail and take it around the office;
• You manage our storage rooms and order for new stock items when required;
• You manage the personal and annual celebrations, like birthday gifts, Easter, Christmas, etc;
• You book taxi’s and lunches and additionally arrange and take care of the weekly lunch at the office;
• Working days: Wednesday and Thursday or 16 hours divided over the following three days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday;

 
About you

• You are approachable, service oriented & representative and resilient;
• You are welcoming, people oriented, fun to work with and you have well developed social skills;
• You have a friendly approach to people and you are not afraid to ask questions;
• You speak Dutch fluently and have a good understanding of the English language
• You are structured, pro-active and like to keep busy;
• You flourish in an international, dynamic and growing environment and enjoy to be at the office;
• You take initiative, are a team player but can also work independently.
